記得很多很多年前，朋友阿石來波士頓探我，當時我正在搬屋，由郊區搬回學校附近，他說：「住得咁偏僻，好似個村姑咁。」出來做事後，喜歡寧靜，也為了省錢，住在近郊。搬到紐約Captain Apollo家，家還是在近郊。 家很小，比我以前一個人住的家小40%，還要跟Captain Apollo一起住。幸好，Captain Apollo不同我計較，任我掉跟他多年的榢俬，任由我佈置（用Visio和用一些online的floor plan application），現在總算住得舒適。對我來說，我的upgrade是有線電視和寬頻！可以看Food Network、HGTV、TLC和Discovery了！不過，我… more

未在紐約上班前的星期日下午，與Captain Apollo入城做個dry run，看看寫字樓到底在哪。途經Rockefeller Plaza附近的Nintendo World Store，想買Wii，櫃面職員說，他們每天早上限量發售一百個，九點鐘一開門很快就賣清了，我們只有掃興地離開。 走多兩三條街，終於走到公司門口，有人有個盼望的眼神說：「嘩，原來你公司咁近Nintendo World Store 架？」「哦‧‧‧」 上班第一天，八點五十五分落樓，到商店門口剛剛九點鐘，已經有很多人在排隊了。人龍在移動，大概在我前面十多個人停下來，工作人員說，當日輪不到我們這些人買Wii了。心想：下次不如早… more
