Unfortunately they are out of business. I found out after driving up there.
This is your typical buffet. You stand in line, pay $5.39 and they ask if you want a drink, give you a cup and send you on your way. The clientele are older people and the stereotypical obese crowd.
The food is not real chinese (of course) but the typical buffet fair. Most of the dishes looked like they had been sitting out for hours. Only the few popular items seemed fresh. The two standouts were the General Tso's Chicken and the Hot & Sour Soup. While neither were original, both had strong bold flavor. While the H&S soup tasted good, they used cheap substitute ingredients like button mushrooms instead of tree-ear and straw mushrooms. But it is a buffet, not fine dining.
The scariest item was the "california roll." Like everything imported from california, it was all flash and no bang. They made them look really pretty but there was no substance. The avocado was old and pasty, the imitation crab (another california invention?) was miniscule and flavorless, and the wasabi (on the side) was old and drying out.
I say blech and avoid this place unless you're broke
The food is average, but made fresh and priced right! The service is fantastic and the free hotspot makes it a great place to nosh and surf.
