This is the best soul food restaurant I've ever been to. The service was great. All of the waitors wore ties and were very polite. The ambiance...wonderful. Not to many soul food spots have live music. And the food...OUTSTANDING. I'm not from K.C. but the next time I'm there, I know where to go for a great meal.

The majority of people in the Lou are not hip to this place yet. But it is the most comfortable theatre I've ever been to. How many theaters you know have a lounge & bar(I don't drink that much but I'm just saying)? I was told that it also has a bowling alley(but I haven't seen it)! The only drawback is that there is one screening room. But nine times out of ten, the flicks will be great. Great spot for a date. So go grab someone you love(or can tolerate for 2hrs.), get cozy, and enjoy the show...
