No 4-star Customer Service Here
This hotel may be rated 4 stars but their customer service is pretty much half a star.
I arrived after a lengthly and delayed flight just after 2am. Waited more than 20 minutes to check in as there was one employee behind the check-in desk obviously dealing with other customer objections.
Finally I got to the room, a fairly nice shoebox. One bed, I requested two.. but you can't always get want you want, right? My friend who was supposed to stay here with me will now be staying at another location.
The final straw. The room they gave me is next to the fitness/business center which they apparently like to clean between 4am and 5am.
There were banging doors, vacuuming, people walking and people talking for most of the morning.
I think I racked up 3 hours sleep.
After heated discussion with the front desk they say they will change the room to another shoebox. No sorry, no compensation.
I just hope tonight I can get some sleep.
What a nice start to my mini-NY vacation.

The SGV's Best Hainan Chicken!

I love Savoy. The Hainan chicken is the best in the world. Service is great.
