I went to Connxtions Comedy Club last Saturday. The comedian Dave Chopin was the main attraction. He was funny, but not that funny. I wish that Toledo could offer more in the way of entertainment. And perhaps, if more Toledoans were to come out and support the little entertainment that we do have maybe we could get top comedians, such as Dave Chappelle, Jim Carey, Mike Epps and so many more.
I didn't have a problem with the comedy club as much as I had a problem with the service and the cost of the food. The food was too pricey. It was frozen finger food that was heated in the microwave, but they charged like they had a gourmet chef. Overall it was not a bad nite and maybe will be it could be better if more Toledoans supported it.

Have you ever been to Dexter's Jamaican Club? Well you should if you haven't. It has the best dancehall, hip hop and culture. This club is hot. And I do mean Hot!!!
At the Jamaican Cricket club, you can dance the nite away, until 4 a.m. You can even dine until 4 a.m.

Unfortunately for the owner, he doesn't really know how to market his club and restaurant but I will tell you that he needs to learn. I don't like to go out to many clubs in Toledo because of the "younger," atmosphere. It's to bad that when you go to clubs that a younger crowd hangs out, usually the night will end early. This does not happen at Dexter's. At Dexter's its good food and good music.
