Decent, but could be better
My girlfriend and I stayed there last weekend and, while the room was somewhat nice, it was smaller than the website had shown. There was also a smell that my girlfriend and I could only describe as musty. The kitchen was okay if a bit cramped, and the bathroom was adequate. The bed, though, was just not comfortable enough to get a proper night's sleep on.

Good no-frills place to stay
I stayed there with my then-girlfriend for a week, and I liked the place. The kitchenette was nice, even though they were a bit skimpy with the plates and silverware. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate. It's a good place to stay if you're going to be staying in Charlotte for several days on end, and the price is a bargain too!

Very nice 24 hour restaurant adjacent to Days Inn
I ate three times at the City Diner Cafe during Dragon*Con, and I have to say that I really liked the place. All three of my meals were breakfasts, and they were cooked to perfection each and every time. The cheese omelette was excellent, and sizeable too, while the grits that went with it were perfect. The "hobo platter" (I think that's what it's called) consisting of home fries topped with cheese and scrambled eggs was also an excellent way to get the days started. The wait staff was very professional and did an outstanding job of checking up on me. I highly recommend this place, especially since it's a 24 hour place that breaks the stereotype of such places. It's clean, friendly, and very affordable.

A little pricey, but you get what you pay for
The Polaris sub is the best cold sub they have there, and it's a challenge just to put down a half-sized sub. The steak and cheese is also great there, especially with extra mushrooms and onions!

Wished it stayed open in the evenings...
...because it's a great place to eat. The breakfast there is great, and their lunch menu is great. Burgers are nice and juicy, fries are delicious, and their plate lunch menu is very nice as well!

Very nice local place to eat
The hot dogs are great and the fries are simply mouthwatering. The hamburgers and chef salad is also great as well!
